The Elite ProLace Waxed Skate Laces are slightly waxed to offer great durability with minimal weight. This 3/8" wide lace has molded waxed tips to prevent fraying and make lacing-up a breeze. Available in many colors to match your skate or favorite team! Makes a great gift for any hockey player!
NOTE:The "White" is more of a light Grey on the "Black/White" lace. See picture.
Comments:I bought these to replace some AR waxed laces that lost ALL their wax after 3mos of daily indoor use. The amount of wax on the Elite ProLace continues to be decent, but the laces have stretched considerably, originally ~244cm, now 273cm, and had to be shortened. This stretch didn't occur with some Elite hockey Pro S700 laces I have on a second identical pair of skates (Seba Igor-10's) used outdoors with an estimated 300 days use. The Pro S700 laces are very waxy and continue to hold their wax, which I like, though unlacing is easier with the Prolace model. I'll probably buy Pro S700 laces my next purchase and will recommend them to my students at the skate school where I teach. From:Jay, WA
Comments:These laces are a little too waxy for my taste -- but you can run them under some warm water to help break them in. At first they were too stiff and hard to work with but I use a little warm water and that helped a lot. The waxed laces definitely make a difference if you have issues with slippage. Comments: I really like these laces. They have so much grip I thought it was too much at first, but they broke in and are perfect. I can tighten my skates just how I want them and never have to re-tighten now. From: Craig, AK
Comments:These laces are less waxed than the A&R standard waxed laces. They do provide a tight hold you want from waxed laces while being a little easier to lace up. They also do not get wax residue all over when being laced up. From: Tom, Oregon, 11/11/20
