Comments: So the background here is after watching the movie "Brink" in 98 I ended up getting a pair of VFX Aggressive Skates. A friend then gave me a pair of late 90s K2 Fatty Skates. I learned most of my tricks on them. Fast forward to a couple of months ago and I want to start skating again. I ended up getting a pair of K2 Fatty Pros. They make me remember my first pair. They are great durable, comfortable, and everything I needed to get back in the game. Great skates at a great price. Definitely what I needed.

Comments: I'm very comfortable on skating/speedskating, but I wanted good protection for aggressive skating. So far, the size, the materials are good, the packaging was perfect. Even I don't want to fall so much because new kit looks great...)) May be I'll try downhills next year.

Comments: Well it's true that these skates are better suited for the beginning skater; they have a very stable cuff and super comfy boot, but the souls are a little to small for doing more complex switch-ups, and the only piece replaceable is the frame. The wheels and bearings are low quality and should be changed first thing. Now to tell you where these boots shine, in the form of "power blades". I bought the 2013 fatty pros and put on kizer advance frames with undercover wheels and they became a completely different skate. All I can say is if you are an experienced skater looking to build a good power blade set-up then get these skates and you won't be disappointed, or get the new capo2s inline warehouse has over in the K2 fitness blades section.

Comments: Im very pleased with these skates . They are comfortable skates that are durable and affordable. I have a old pair of k2 skates from the 1990s and these new k2 skates are built alot better. If you are a person who grinds alot then get the k2 varsity skate so you can change the soul plate after it wears out. I really like that the frame on these skates are ufs compatible . Im going to put a different frame on mine so I can have 60mm wheels and Im also going to get some faster bearings as well. These are a great skate for the price . K2 makes great skates.
